Associates of the Department of molecular biology and endocrinology (DMBE) for many years are actively involved in multidisciplinary programs for the popularisation and promotion of science, designed primarily for students in elementary and secondary schools, but also for all others interested in science.
The main objective of the programs is that in a fun, easy and unique way through a series of exhibitions, scientific debates, demonstrations and experiments, participants are acquainted with the impact of science in nowadays society, increase the level of science awareness and scientific developments in the Republic of Serbia, the advantages of studying the science faculties, and the practical side of science and scientific results application in everyday life. Also, these programs emphasize the significance of scientific research results implemented by associates of DMBE.
DMBE's associates, in this way, pursue international trends in education, which show a shift from the traditional approach "oriented to the presenter or the researcher" towards an approach in which focus is the student.
