The Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Endocrinology is focused on fundamental molecular mechanisms of different pathophysiology. To explore etiology, progression, diagnosis and treatment of conditions ranging from health to severe disorders we use methods of molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, genetics and endocrinology. Our experimental investigation include trials at both preclinical (in vitro and animal) and clinical level. The research interests of our Laboratory are focused on the major biomedical areas:

3) Redox Medicine, Cancer Biology and Therapy
The vision of our Laboratory is to be an internationally recognized basic and translational research department in the field of biomedical research, and to train MSc and PhD students. Our mission is to understand the molecular basis relevant to human diseases and to contribute in the development of new therapeutic strategies.
