  • Sažetak istraživanja:

    Proučavaće se fizika Higgs bozona i fizika top kvarka na LHC i višim energijama. U daljim fazama rada eksperimenta CMS i na budućim sudaračima (FCC, CEPC i drugim) od ključnog značaja je razvoj i ubrzanje algoritama za rekonstrukciju dogadjaja, gde ce biti primenjene metode masinskog ucenja i GPU programiranja. Te tehnike bice upotrebljene i za ubrzavanje Geant4-DNA paketa, kao i za simulaciju prekida DNK lanaca usled zračenja, u okviru multidisciplinarnog istraživanja biofizičkih efekata zračenja na ćelijskom i subćelijskom nivou, sa primenom u planiranju terapije maligniteta protonima i jonima ugljenika. Kombinovanjem eksperimentalnog ozračivanja ćelija i Geant4-DNA simulacija proverava se ovaj alat i analiziraju efekti raspodele doze, fluensa, energije i linearnog transfera energije čestica. Definisaće se i geometrije dvolančanih prekida DNK.
